💙 Training Designed Around Your Child
We start by understanding your child's current abilities and needs, then determine the most appropriate next step for their training.
💙 A Personalized Approach for Every Child

Every Child Learns In Their Own Way

Some children need more time to feel comfortable in the water, while others may need a different communication style or training pace. That’s why we don’t use the same program for everyone. We start with your child’s abilities, needs and comfort level.

👀

We begin by understanding your child’s comfort in the water, previous experience and current abilities before deciding how to approach their training.
🎯
We Adapt the Training
We adjust the teaching approach, pace and exercises to suit each child’s individual needs and abilities.
🌱
We Progress Step by Step
We focus on gradual progress without rushing or comparing your child with others.

A Clear Approach from the Start

From Assessment to Progress — A Clear Journey for Your Child

Training doesn’t begin with a one-size-fits-all program. We start by understanding your child’s starting point, then build an appropriate plan and follow their progress step by step throughout the sessions.

01
Initial Assessment
We understand your child’s comfort level in the water, previous experience, current abilities and the most appropriate starting point for training.
02
Personalized Training Plan
We identify the skills and goals to focus on and adapt the training approach to your child’s individual needs.
03
Training & Follow-Up
We keep track of what is being worked on, the progress observed and what the next training focus should be.
04
Progress Review
We review progress against the starting point, then identify the appropriate goals and next steps for the following stage.
Every Session Has a Purpose. Every Stage Has a Next Step.
We track what we work on during each session and review progress against your child’s starting point, so the next step remains clear.
Clear Standards in Every Session

Trust Starts with How We Work

For us, quality is about more than teaching a new skill. It means parents understand how the training works, what we are focusing on, and that every session is structured, safe and clear from the start.

Our goal is for parents to know that there is a clear system behind every session — not just unstructured time in the water.
01
Private 1-to-1 Sessions
The instructor focuses on one child throughout the session, allowing the instructions, exercises and pace to be adapted to their individual needs.
02
Safety Before Speed
We don’t push a child to move on to a new step before they are ready. Comfort and safety remain a priority throughout the training process.
03
A Child-Centred Experience
We respond flexibly to how the child engages during each session and adjust the progression when needed, without unnecessary pressure or rushing.
04
Clear Communication with Parents
We keep parents informed about what we are working on throughout the training journey, the current priorities and the child’s next step.
Clear Standards We Maintain in Every Session
Structure, safety, follow-up and communication are not extras; they are part of the way Special Kids Academy works.
